Hello everyone!

So yeah, hi! This is my new blog. I’m going to try to write some interesting things about my rehab, recovering from my injuries and the cancer that I used to have. Exciting yeah?

My name is Nicholas James Trimble. I’m now 30, 31 on October the 15th. I was born in 1987. I almost died on the 20th June 2014 when I was run over by an idiot in a BMW at 11.45 pm so yeah, really not been a good few years since. Getting there now though! I can talk again also, which was a really annoying problem I guess.

Let’s start at my accident ey? Cool. So yeah, I was horrifically run over at 11.45 pm on the 20th June 2014. I was in hospitals in London for 2 years after it. I then moved back to Manchester in 2016 to Oakwood rehab center in Stockport for a year or so. Started talking again after my 14th operation on my brain! I had 16 in total there.

I’ve just bought a house which is nice! I’ve not actually seen it or even been to it yet but I’m trusting my mother obviously!

I designed speakers for my real-life job for around 4 years working for companies like Monitor Audio and Bang & Olufsen. I still love the work I was doing, designing hi-fi speakers and audio devices. I’d love to do it again, but now I’m unsure of when it will be possible. Who knows ey?

I used to love taking photos, for fun. I was also a runner for a few years. That is something I’d love to do again in the future but I’m not sure how possible that will ever be. I ran the New York Marathon on 7th Nov 2010. The best holiday/experience I’ve ever had.

Well that’s all I’m putting for now, still a bit new to me all this! I’ll write more soon.
